Digital Impressions
We use an intra-oral scanner replacing, in many cases, the need for impressions with a tray and impression material. Many of our procedures can be accomplished using a scanner, which provides an accurate and efficient way to visualize your dentition in a 3D form.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays provide a very low-dose exposure to our patients. The ability to see radiographs instantly and to reduce the amount of radiation to the patients is an advantage we provide to our patients. We use a CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) giving the doctors the ability to see your teeth and other structures of the head and neck in 3 dimensions.
Same-Day Built Crowns
We realize that your time is valuable. At KDC, we utilize a milling machine in our office to fabricate your crowns while you wait or while you do a few errands and come back. Patients are happy to not have to wait 2-3 weeks for their permanent crown and to have a temporary crown during this time.
Ultrasonic Scalers
Our hygiene staff work hard to create a pleasant and thorough visit for you during your teeth cleanings. Using an ultrasonic scaler, along with hand instruments, are ways they can be efficient with your appointments and make the appointments as comfortable as possible.
Digital Dental Records
The world is going digital, and we agree that this is the way to make things more streamlined and organized. We are able to keep x-rays, charting, and patient notes all in one place. It also allow us to seamlessly communicate within our office and with our specialists when referring patients for further treatment.
